I owe my skating journey to my amazing mum, Zoe. She introduced me to the magic of roller skating over ten years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. There's something about gliding around with wheels strapped to my feet that makes me feel alive and free. Being part of the skating community has been an incredible experience for me. Now, as a rink marshal, I get to share my passion with others and pass on the skills I've learnt along the way.

Gary has been instrumental in teaching me the ins and outs of the roller disco business. These days, I run and manage skate hire, and love nothing more than helping customers and leading a small team. It's all about developing skills that I can carry with me into the future. Skating isn't just a hobby for me – it's a way of life. It's helped me build friendships and greatly boosted my confidence.
