I have been a part of the roller-skating industry most of my life!
The Birth of my business: Roller Revolution in 2009; was derived from my passion for roller skating and the wanting to share this with others.
I strapped my first set of skates to my feet at three years old and my passion stemmed from there, so much so, that I began speed skating from the age of six!
By the age of fourteen, I had began working in Roller rinks helping with rink marshalling to begin with and becoming more involved the more time I spent there. Helping skaters of all ages and abilities, whilst learning the ins and outs of a skating business, which would soon became something I was eager to establish and share myself.
Skating made me feel alive and my passion continued to grow.
Over the years skating has presented me with many opportunities. I became part of the ‘Brummies’ roller derby team, where I developed my skills further on my wheels, whilst enjoying the competitive nature of the sport. During my time playing for the brummies’ I was recognised by the Ireland Roller Derby team and was asked to represent the country in 2015/2016. This was an honour as an Irish descendant and a massive opportunity to represent Ireland whilst doing something I loved.
My passion continues and I enjoy watching experienced and new skaters, alike, enjoying the sessions and experiences I provide. I love the skating community which I have prided myself in building through my business.
