Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to book in advance for a roller disco session?
Whether you wish to walk-in and pay on the door or book in advance online, it is completely up to you.
  • Do you provide roller skate hire?
Yes, we offer roller skate hire for all of our sessions. Skates are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your size.
  • Is their an age limit for your roller skating sessions?
Our roller skating sessions are suitable for all ages unless otherwise stating on the event details specifically! However, it is important to note that children under a certain age may require adult supervision, as a general rule of thumb we advise that children under the age of five are supported on the rink especially for their first few sessions.
  • Is safety equipment provided?
We provide free wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads for all skaters. Safety is our top priority, so be sure to grab some protective gear if you do not feel totally confident on your skates.
  • Can I bring my own skates?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring your own roller skates if you have them. Just make sure they're in good condition and meet our safety standards. This means their should be nothing loose on your skates that is likely to come off and create hazards for other skaters and the wheels must be clean of any mud, stones or moisture that would otherwise create a safety concern for other skaters.
  • Do you offer party bookings?
Yes, we offer party bookings for special occasions! Whether it's a birthday, corporate event, or team building activity, we'll work with you to create a memorable experience for you and your guests.
  • Is their food and drink available at your venues?
Yes, you can purchase refreshments and snacks during your visit. We often offer both fizzy and still drinks and snacks in the form of a variety of sweet treats to keep that energy up!
  • What should I wear to roller skate?
Whilst there is not a strict dress code, we do recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in the wheels of your skates. Oh and don't forget your socks!
  • Do you offer skate lessons for beginners?
We don't offer any official classes or skate lessons per say but when asked, one of our experienced skate marshals would be happy to offer some advice on the basics of roller skating, from balancing to stopping and turning.
  • Do I have to pay to spectate?
Our policy is one adult per full paying child. Any additional adults will be charged to spectate.
  • Why do I have to pay to watch?
Whilst you may not be skating, spectators still add to our capacity limit. Each person that comes along is another body and another seat. As a result there is a charge for spectators outside of the permitted one adult per child policy.
